Galvanised Grout Tubes

• Construction OEM products are manufactured to ensure the quality and consistency are up to the highest standard available in Australia.
• We specify the raw materials to be used, which are also tested for their integrity.
• All our standard grade plastic products are made from virgin plastic. The industry code specifies, all spacers should be load tested and the grade marked on the packaging. The grade, load and the recovery is regulated. The reason we use virgin rather than recycled plastic, we can regulate and keep the performance constant. That can not be consistently achieved with recycled plastic. The raw material is different in every batch. Hence recycled product must be re-tested and re certified with every batch to adhere to industry and Australian standards. Non adherance could result in the product not conforming. This small oversight, should a problem occur, the non adherance to the code could jepordise the project, builders and concretors profit, insurance and liability. The finished product is also more susceptible to failure or rejection.
• COEM steel spiral grout tubes are coated with a hot dipped galvanising. Some firms supply a zinc, or painted product. As the engineers generaly specify HDG, by utilising an alternative must have the change approved. Failure to do so, could jepordise compliance to specification and cost the precaster, contractor in correcting the non compliance or potential penalties.
• The spiral tubes have more ribs and are close together. This makes it easier to bend without damage and anchors firmer in the concrete.
• To ensure the integrity of the finished concrete product. Construction OEM (COEM) when engineering the lift and bracing, also specifies the quality, type of spacer, type of connecting grout tubes, fixing mechansms, anchors and ferrules including the accesories which is required for the finished product to perform to specification.

• When manufacturing we precisely specify what we require, including material, tolerance, performance.
• We consult the concrete Industries, Construction and Australian Standards. We have intensive conversations with the end users of the products. This enables us to engineer the products to ensure the best performance and simple to use.
• We have the raw materials tested for compliance and fit for purpose. We then have production samples manufacturered. They in turn are tested by a local certified independent laboratory. Once the bulk product has been completed, we randomly select products and test them in an independent Australian NATA certified laboratory for compliance and quality. Each batch is serial numbered and checked for compliance and integrity. A sample from each batch is stored for future testing if required. This ensures consistent quality products.
