Precast ferrules, also known as concrete ferrules or cast-in ferrules, are threaded inserts designed to be embedded into concrete during the casting process. They create a permanent threaded fixing point that allows bolts, braces, structural steel and other components to be securely attached after the concrete has cured.

COEM Ribbed Bar (CRB) is a reinforcement bar where the ribs act as a thread. This allows the bar to be cut at any point and to fit various threaded inserts, couplers, ferrules etc.
This provides greater flexibility than other traditional reinforcement methods, creating significant labour savings onsite.
